Compare the full specification

A game store page may list a supported operating system, processor, memory, graphics hardware and storage requirement. Compare those details with your PC's actual components rather than relying on a model name alone. Minimum requirements generally indicate a baseline, not a promise of a particular frame rate or visual quality.

Allow for installation space

Check available drive space and whether the game may need room for updates or downloadable content. Installation size can change over time, and a launcher may temporarily require extra space. Review current system requirements and publisher notes before starting a large download, especially on a limited data connection or a shared computer.

Check the features you need

Hardware compatibility is only one part of whether a game will work for you. Look for controller support, subtitle and accessibility details, account requirements and any additional software. A PC that meets the listed requirements may still behave differently because of drivers, operating-system updates or other components. Use the current store listing and publisher support for final details.
